An eLife Activity Host is a community volunteer who has an interest or passion they would like to share with eLife guests. Activity Hosts have completed a detailed application process that includes providing 3 personal references, an extensive application, were interviewed and fingerprinted. They have completed Host training which includes viewing the Sexual Harassment Awareness training video.
Upon graduation, an Activity Host will plan an activity with an eLife Co-Host of their choosing. The activity is then posted on the eLife web site so you can view it on your "My eLife Calendar". So, an eLife Activity Host and Co-Host simply plan and lead eLife activities.
